Applied Arts Logo

The Applied Arts Program at Quinsigamond Community College issued a design challenge to all current students and alumni. The task was to design a logo for the program that could be used on it’s Facebook page and in other areas for their identity. After all the entries were in and the votes were cast the winner is the logo mark you see here. The combined letters were inspired by a typography exercise from a QCC design class. The overlay of the lowercase A references the style of the current QCC logo creating a unified identity when both logos are used together.
